Lithospermum root extract as perennial herb is a kind of boraginaceae. It can be classified according to its original places such as Xinjiang Arnebia euchroma(Royle), Johnst, Lithospermum erythrorhizon Sieb. Et Zucc and Inner Mongolia Arnebia guttata Bunge. These can also be called accordingly soft lithospermum, hard lithospermum and Inner Mongolia lithospermum.

English name: Lithospermum root extract;

Character: Dark red or dark black liquid or paste, having a characteristic odor and a bitter taste;
